Every year, Meta and the German nonprofit Stiftung Digitale Chancen celebrate people who use social media to make society more inclusive, more democratic and more sustainable. In 2014 and 2015, I was a jury member of the Smart Hero Award.
This is the 2014 Smart Hero Award winner wheelmap.org. Wheelmap.org is like Google Maps with an additional accessibility layer. It covers places around the world. Wheelmap.org is created for and by the community.
